As a district, an innovative STEM program (science, technology, engineering, and math) was implemented in all of our elementary schools in 2012. In 2015, all of our schools were STEM certified by the IDOE. Our programming has grown and developed over the years, with STEM teacher/coaches collaborating with classroom teachers to ensure students’ experiences with STEM are meaningful and embedded throughout the students’ school day. We are in the process of collecting data in order to evaluate our program and improve our practices. We would love your input! Please click the link below to fill out a 5-question survey about STEM. Please contact Mrs. Skura (STEM Teacher—firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions. Thank you for your participation!
